School Building and Facility Use

Montevideo Public School buildings are available for public use, subject to guidelines and procedures outlined in the "Community Use of School Facilities" brochure. If you would like information about using any of the school buildings, including the Fine Arts Center, call the Community Education Office at 320-269-5026 or e-mail [email protected] to check on availability and rates.

Following is the procedure to follow:

1.  Contact the Comm. Ed. Office to get an "Application and Permit for Use of School Buildings" form.  Their phone number is 320-269-6538.

2.  Complete and return the application.  Be sure to indicate any special instructions (need microphone, tables set up, etc.) Return it to Community Ed. Office, Sanford Education Center, 412 S. 13th St., Montevideo MN 56265.

3.  Include a liability insurance certificate with your application.

School activities will take precedence over community activities.
